Hello, I’m Michael.

Music has been part of my life since I first sat at the piano at the age of five. Later came science, then art, literature and many journeys – and with them the realisation that the most beautiful things often lie between worlds. I can get as excited about a game of chess as about a poem by Rilke, about a premiere at the Konzerthaus as about a walk by the sea near Trieste.

My path has been anything but straight – and that is exactly what has made it rich. I have worked in environmental management, imported specialty coffee from Guatemala, introduced older people to the digital world, worked in cultural education and run my own artists‘ agency.

But what fascinates me most is people. When I accompany you, you are at the centre: your stories, your wishes, what moves you. I love to listen, I have a fine sense for what the person beside me needs, and I offer moments in which you can simply be yourself.

For 25 years, Buddhism has shaped me – not as esotericism, but as an attitude: awake, calm and open to whatever the moment brings. That’s how conversations come about that begin lightly and can become surprisingly deep. And yet I’m very down to earth. Often it’s the simple things that make a life rich.

der FREIZEITMANN is much more than the sum of my professions. All my life experience flows into this project close to my heart – my interest in people, my charm, and above all my deep wish to touch others and fill shared time with meaning.

Why der FREIZEITMANN?

Because I truly believe that companionship can be healing. That good conversations, shared experiences and sincere attention make our lives richer.

I see what women often lack – not because they are weak, but because they give so much: space for themselves, lightness, an attentive companion. I want to be there exactly where this is needed. Without expectations, but with true presence.
