Journal · About the idea
What is a Freizeitmann?
„Freizeitmann“ is German and translates roughly as „leisure gentleman“. It describes a companion for a while: a cultured man who accompanies women to events, on outings and trips – on a purely social basis. The idea is simple: free time is often better spent together than alone.
What a Freizeitmann does
- He accompanies you to the opera, a concert, a ball or a wedding.
- He’s good company over dinner or an afternoon in a coffee house.
- He shows you a city, joins you at the lake, a thermal spa or on a trip.
What a Freizeitmann is not
A Freizeitmann is not an escort and not a dating service. There are no sexual services and no romantic expectations. Nor is he a substitute for friendship – rather a bridge when your own circle isn’t at hand. The closest comparison is what some call a „rent-a-friend“ service, only more personal and with more style.
Who it’s for
For women who love going out but don’t always have someone by their side: single or widowed, travelling for work, new to Vienna, Salzburg or Graz, or simply without the right company for a particular evening. Age and circumstances don’t matter.
How it works
Everything starts with a non-binding phone call. We get to know each other, talk about what you have in mind and sense whether the chemistry is right. Then we plan the evening together. A first encounter of about two hours starts at €200. You’ll find all the details in the FAQ.
Together, not alone – that’s the whole idea.
